A Christmas Adventure Awaits: A Poem by Cedar the Postal Elf
Hey everyone, my name’s Cedar the Postal Elf, and I was asked to write a poem that tells you all about the charm of our Christmas Special! So, sit back and enjoy this tale!
Twas the night before Christmas at Audley End Enchanted Railway,
And the magic of Christmas was just a ride away!
The train is waiting at the station for you,
to take you on a journey where dreams come true.
Past glowing displays and towering trees,
through the crisp winter air, a light frosty breeze.
At Father Christmas’s Grotto, where the train will make a stop,
to meet the jolly man himself, a memory you can’t top!
As he appears, with his elves by his side,
And gifts for each child, to make smiles wide
After the train, I, Cedar the postal elf will lend a hand,
As you write a Christmas list, bound for Lapland!
In the Craft Lodge, make a treat so fine,
Reindeer food to sparkle and shine.
Take it home for Christmas Eve delight,
to guide the reindeer all through the night!
Pop to our stage show, where Snowberry will charm,
and that’s not the end so don’t be alarmed…
Back near the station, a carousel spun,
An extra treat for the little ones’ fun.
So come all ye faithful, with family cheer,
At Audley End Miniature Railway, the highlight of the year
Though the tracks may fade as the day comes to end,
The memories we’ve made will forever extend.
