Our prices vary for the different days and special events. Please visit each event page to find out the ticket prices.

For our Special Events pre-booking is essential. This includes Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas. Find out what’s on here. For our general running days, outside our special events, we advise you to pre-book online to avoid disappointment. In some instances, we charge more on the door.

You must purchase a ticket to enter onto our site.

Yes, we can offer a refund if you give us more than 48 hours’ notice prior to your visit. If you miss the notice period for a refund, we can offer a transfer to an alternative date during the same event, subject to availability. Please note, an additional charge may be due, if you switch to a more expensive time slot. If an alternative date within the event isn't suitable, we can issue a return credit voucher, which will be the value of your tickets, minus the booking fee, which is non-refundable. The return credit voucher is valid for 12 months, and can be redeemed against any event in this period.

We are a cash-less attraction. Please note we don’t currently accept American Express.

Yes, we have disabled parking in our accessibility car park. We have accessible toilets, although please note we do not have any changing room facilities. We have a wheelchair carriage on the trains. This carriage fits one wheelchair and four other people, our accessible seating also allows the passenger to slide from their wheelchair onto the carriage seat. — please let us know before your visit if you would like to book this carriage. Contact the office before visiting on 01799 510726.

Yes, a baby changing station is located within the accessible toilet facilities.

We are primarily an outdoor open site with very limited shelter. We do have a tented area near the café — but please be prepared with suitable clothing and footwear!

When you’re on the train, your buggy can be left in the buggy park. The rest of the attraction is buggy friendly.

There is a designated smoking area within the accessible car park. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes and vapes is strictly prohibited around the site.

No, open fires and barbecues are not allowed.

We run Diesel and Electric trains. We do not guarantee which train you will ride.

An array of homemade, locally sourced, hot and cold food and drink is available from our Woodland Café, including ice creams from Saffron Ice Cream.

We cater to food allergies and intolerances, so please ask our friendly staff for help if you need more information.

Under one’s go free. The Essential Companion ticket is for customers joining a passenger who needs extra support during their visit. We understand that some disabilities may not be immediately apparent and may require verification. If you are an Essential Companion please bring proof along with you in the form of paperwork or a card.

There is no charge for car parking. We have a large, woodland car park situated approximately 300m away from the main entrance. We also have an on-site blue badge accessibility car park.

We do our best to run in all weather conditions and are rarely defeated. However, during adverse weather conditions it may be necessary to suspend train services or close the site at short notice. Check social media/our website before commencing your journey if you have any concerns.

We welcome well-behaved dogs on site, and on our trains. Please keep on a short lead, with you always, and be sure to pick up after them.

We are a working railway, and occasionally unforeseen circumstances can cause issues. During such times, we ask our customers to remain calm and patient with our staff while we work to resolve issues promptly.

Children need to be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over. For safety reasons, children under the age of 18 are not permitted to enter the site.
