Come rain or shine, you’re sure to have a magical time!
Don’t let the weather stop you from your adventures, especially now with our new Rainy Day Guarantee. If it rains consecutively for over an hour during your visit, then you can come back another day with a return ticket.
This applies to Woodland Adventure, May Half Term and Summer days only, and your return ticket will only be valid for these days. The new ticket must be booked in for 6 months or less after your original visit. You may have to pay the difference if the new ticket exceeds the price of the original ticket, and tickets can’t be changed once booked.
So how does it work?
There must be continuous rainfall for over 1 hour during your visit, as measured by our on-site weather station.
You then have 48 hours to claim a free visit, and we will validate this against our weather data from the day.
The new ticket must be booked in for within 6 months of your visit. If your new ticket exceeds the price of the original ticket, then you will need to pay the difference.

Terms & Conditions
- One return visit per original booking.
- Return visits must be pre-booked and are subject to availability.
- Your free return is only valid if it rains continuously for over an hour during your time on-site.
- Your return visit is only valid if it rains within 4 hours of checking in on the day of your visit.
- The original tickets must have been scanned for entry to claim the free return.
- You must have contacted us within 48 hours of your visit and include your full name and booking reference to claim.
- Audley End Enchanted Railway reserve the right to modify or withdraw this offer at any time.
- You may have to pay extra if the new ticket exceeds the price of the original.
- Once booked, the complimentary ticket can't be changed.
- Your complimentary return ticket will not be covered by the rainy day guarantee.
