Family fun in the heart of Essex – just an hour from London!
From 19th July to 31st August, we launched our brand-new Summer Festival at Audley End Enchanted Railway – and we’re still buzzing from the excitement! Nestled in the beautiful Essex countryside, just outside Saffron Walden, our attraction welcomed families from near and far for a day packed full of outdoor fun and magical memories.

🌲 Fulfen Forest Adventures
Many of you told us how much you loved exploring the Fulfen Forest – a place where kids could let their imaginations run wild! From den building and relaxing forest bathing, to getting creative on the interactive art wall, it was a hit for both little adventurers and grown-ups alike. The face painting and playful funhouse mirrors added to the enchantment of the woodland experience.🛶 New for 2025: Punting on the River
This summer saw the exciting launch of punting, offering one of the calmest, most peaceful parts of the day. Drifting gently through the scenic landscape was a chance to unwind and soak up the natural beauty of our unique setting.đźš‚ Ride the Magical Train Through the Woodland
Of course, no trip to Audley End Enchanted Railway would be complete without hopping on our charming enchanted train. Families enjoyed a scenic ride through the forest, where they could meet Cristabelle the Fairy and Twig the Elf. With enchanting lights, woodland storytelling, and a sprinkle of magic, it was a favourite moment for many.🚲 Outdoor Fun for Everyone
You also went wild for our new go karts and balance bikes – perfect for little racers! Alongside classic field games, it made for a day of active, outdoor fun that kept everyone entertained from start to finish.🎟️ A Full Family Day Out in Essex – Near Saffron Walden and Cambridge
