New for 2024! Audley End Miniature Railway Scarecrow exhibition
We’re excited to announce something brand new and fun for 2024 at Audley End Miniature Railway: our very first CommunityScarecrow Exhibition! This unique and creative event is set to bring even more magic and community spirit to your visit this Halloween. So, what can you expect?
The Scarecrow Exhibition will showcase a variety of handcrafted scarecrows made by local groups, schools, and businesses from Saffron Walden and beyond. Each scarecrow will be displayed along the Fulfen Forest trail, adding a spooky touch to our already enchanting woodland. From quirky mechanic scarecrows to scout and guide scarecrows, there are plenty of marvellous and mysterious creations. There will be a scarecrow for everyone to enjoy!
Why Are We Doing It?
The idea behind the Scarecrow Exhibition is to celebrate creativity and bring together the local community in a fun and engaging way. It’s a fantastic opportunity for groups to get involved and showcase their talents, while also enhancing the visitor experience with something new and interactive. Plus, it’s the perfect way to add an autumnal atmosphere to our site.
