Punting along the River Cam at Audley End Enchanted Railway
There’s something truly special about drifting gently along the river on a summer’s day, and this year, punting is back at Audley End Enchanted Railway during selected summer events.
Hop on a boat and enjoy some calm
Whether you’re visiting with family or friends, punting offers the perfect chance to slow down, unwind, and soak up the peaceful beauty of our stretch of the River Cam. Sit back and relax while one of our fully trained boatmen guides you along the water, creating a calm and memorable experience for all ages.
As you glide through the river surroundings, keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife. Ducks, swans, and moorhens are often spotted swimming alongside the boats, adding a little extra magic to your journey.
How does it work?
Each punt holds up to four passengers, which can be any combination of adults or children over 92cm tall. Little ones under 92cm are welcome too and can join in addition to the four allocated spaces.
Each space is £7. Please note, if you don’t book 4 spaces, you might share your punt with another family.
Punting tickets can only be booked if you already have tickets for the event taking place on that day.

Punting is available during selected summer events only, so be sure to plan ahead and book before you come to ensure you get the time slot you would like. However, it may be possible to book when you arrive. Make the most of this relaxing riverside experience during your visit to the Enchanted Railway.
